The location chosen in Argentina to hold SERESSA 2024 is the Teófilo Tabanera Space Center (CETT) located in the province of Córdoba, Argentina. Nearly 400 people from both CONAE and the VENG company work in this place. In addition to being one of the main ground stations in the southern hemisphere (for communication with satellites) the CETT has several development, integration and testing laboratories.
CETT is located in Córdoba province, at the heart of Argentina (700km NW of Buenos Aires)
Strategically located at driving distance from three touristic cities:
Alta Gracia (at 15km), an architectural landmark, home of 70,000 residents and a key touristic destination.
Villa Carlos Paz (at 15km), one of the top tourist destinations in Argentina, receiving nearly half-a-million people during the summer.
Córdoba Capital (at 30km), the cosmopolitan province capital, home of 1 million people and a Cultural, Industrial and Educational hub.
LODGING RECOMMENDATION
TRANSPORT: Free transportation will be provided from Alta Gracia to CETT, where SERESSA 2024 will be held. The latter is a 15km ride. A bus will leave Alta Gracia at 8:15 from Velez Sarfield and Blvd. Pellegrini corner and will be returning to that same place at 17:00 approximately. Those who prefer to find a lodge in other nearby locations such as Carlos Paz or Cordoba City, are free to do so, but in that case transportation shall be arranged independently.
ALTA GRACIA CITY: Alta Gracia is a tourist city with more than 400 years old located in the province of Cordoba in Argentina at the foot of the Sierras Chicas (Small Hills). Its estrategic location makes it an exellent point of connection with all the Tourist Valleys, just 40 minutes away from the city of Cordoba. It has different circuits like; Museums circuit, Circuit “The Posts of Che”, Architectural circuit, Road of Faith, Active Tourism and the best gastronomy.
